House of Lydia started with a question we couldn't find an answer to — where do you find jewellery that's beautifully designed, well-made, and still actually affordable?
We met at UC Davis, all in business-related majors, and somewhere between classes and coffee runs we kept circling back to the same conversation: the small, beautifully made pieces we wished more people could find. The ones with real weight, real silver, a little texture, a little soul. The problem was, the pieces we loved were either too expensive to wear every day — or the affordable ones felt cheap the moment you held them. We wanted to close that gap.
So House of Lydia is what we've built around it: a small, growing brand of pieces we'd want to wear ourselves. Real materials, considered design, and a price that actually makes sense.
What we offer is a mix of carefully curated and lovingly handmade —
- i. Our 925 sterling silver collection — hand-picked for weight, finish, and pieces that wear well over the years.
- ii. Mini ear studs — some are handmade by us, others hand-picked for their delicate craft.
- iii. Hand-sewn cloth dolls and small ornaments — stitched one at a time from scraps of linen and cotton.
- iv. Our little mystery box — a small surprise that holds a bit of everything we make and love.
We're a young brand, still finding our shape, and we're learning as we go.
